Well, I am (almost) done with packing: documents, dollars, Starbucks card which needs to be refilled as soon as I exit the JFK airport, the MetroCard, the tube map app, my press pass for both shows and interviews, make-up set, toothbrash and toothpaste, adapter, gloves and scarf, cause in New York it supposed to snow again (my friend Karen told me it's 50°F, or 10°C, which is actually a warm temperature for me), presents for my American friends... what else is missing?
Oh, well. The most important thing, I suppose. The luggage.
A brand new one. The Roncato Light suitcase my mom bought me on sale for 82$ (60€). She also bought the luggage cover (the blue one, of course), since every time I fly she complains about how bad luggage can be treated at airport. "At least you can also use it next time. Don't shake it. Pay attention to the wheels".

Well, the plane could be diverted or there could be a crash. I could die or be arrested. They could stop me at customs. And she only cares about the stupid luggage. If the luggage could make its way home without me it could be OK for her. Just kidding, I know she loves me deep down to her heart. She will miss me, as always... even though when I am there she always complains about having me around, bla bla bla. Thank God my grandma stands by me!
I still have to pack my dresses. I definitely have no idea of what to pack. I thought about spring clothes, without thinking that it could still be cold in the Big Apple. So I could need at least a coat and a sweater, just in case. I really don't want to get sick while I am there. Well, I was wearing a coat and a sweater when the temperature was really cold (-7°C), so now I could simply wear a long sleeves shirt. Never say never! I really don't want to start a new column named kriziainbummerland, even if the name sounds prettier in English that in Italian (kriziainsfigaland).
That means, I will also bring some winter clothes and a couple of pair of jeans along with bathing suite, summer clothes and flip-flops. Just give me the credit card from the What not to wear TV show and I will leave without any baggage. I am literally on #wtfshouldipack, so, if you have any suggestions, please help me. I am leaving in less than 2 days, hell yeah.
I am definitely desperate, yes. I'm pretty sure you will help me with some tips, as always!
Omg, just found this post and I feel solo much like you when I need to pack. Even if it's just for a weekend! hahaha!
