Since my next trip is around the corner- I will be in Verona and Venice in 2 weeks- I was looking for some accessorizes and I discovered this amazing e-shop called We travel far where you can buy the travel emergency blanket, which definitely has to be mine!
Not only because it's soft and lightweight, but also because it comes in a zip pouch that doubles as a pillowcase when not in use. How amazing is it? I mean, when closed it's only 9in x 8 in, which is a reasonable size to be used on
planes, buses and trains.
I always travel with a small pillow- one of the light blue ones you can find at Ikea-so this solution could solve my problem of carrying too much stuff when I go somewhere.
I also found a very nice letterpress printed journal on the website, having 40 blank kraft interior pages. I like the mint color, which is closer to my favorite one- blue, in case it wasn't that obvious, but there is a selection of colors you can choose. I will buy it for this upcoming Saint Valentine's weekend, and I will use it to take notes about the best restaurants, bars and pastry shops in Venice. A dear friend of mine gave me some hints, so I will be able to find the right places where to taste the real fritole veneziane, the Venitian donuts
