There are so many reasons why I love Florence, and I think the most important one is related to the fact that my favorite author is Dante Alighieri, who lived there. There is so much to discover, visit and find out in the city, and you can't never get bored!
FREE Florence map: the best and complete I've found
I found out this great map named I love Florence – the city for children, which marks all the cultural spots considered children-friendly, such as gardens, playrooms, specialized libraries, pools and bike rentals.
The graphic project is by Raffaele Anello and the illustrations are by Simone Frasca. There result is a great tool to be used while exploring the city at its best, especially if it's your first time there.
